Dublin Castle – 1.1km : 5 minute drive / 10 minute walk
Just a short 10 minute walk from Pizzabaker Bishop Street, Dublin Castle is a working Irish Government building, that brings Irish history to life. Best of all – kids under 12 get FREE entry!
St Stephen’s Green – 500m : 6 minute walk / 8 minute drive
A moment of calm away from the hustle and bustle of Dublin city, St. Stephen’s Green is an oasis that can be enjoyed by everyone. Pick up some delicious, freshly baked pizzas from our Bishop Street store to enjoy in the park. Pizza boxes are the new picnic baskets after all!
Viking Splash Tours – 900m : 9 minute walk / 11 minute drive
Roar your way through Dublin City in a unique land and water experience with Viking Splash Tours. Departing from St. Stephen’s Green North, just a short 10 minute walk from our Bishop Street store a Viking Splash Tour is perfect to enjoy after a pizza picnic in the park.
The Ark – 950m : 7 minute drive / 12 minute walk
The Ark is an 8 minute drive or 12-15 minute walk from Pizzabaker Bishop Street and is a fascinating cultural centre built especially for kids in the centre of Dublin. There is a tonne of different events on throughout the year & it’s worth checking the website to book tickets for a post pizza exhibition or creative workshop!
National Museum of Ireland – Archaeology – 2.2km : 8 minute drive / 15 minute walk
The National Museum of Ireland – Archaeology is a fantastic way to sneak in some educational fun during the Summer holidays. From Prehistoric Ireland to Ancient Egypt, visitors can see important archaeological artefacts dating from 7000 BC up to the 20th century. Best of all – admission is free!
The museum offers a year-round programme of workshops, talks and tours for all ages and a changing programme of temporary exhibitions on historical and contemporary themes.
A 15 minute walk from Pizzabaker Bishop Street, the National Museum of Ireland – Archaeology is the perfect place to spend the day after enjoying some delicious pizza!

Dublin Zoo – 2.4km : 7 minute drive / 25 minute walk
Officially Ireland’s biggest family attraction, Dublin Zoo not only offers a great day out for the whole family, but also a journey of learning and discovery about the world’s precious wildlife.
Pizzabaker Grangegorman is just a 7 minute drive from the zoo & is the perfect place to wrap up a family fun day out!
Phoenix Park – 4.1km : 8 minute drive / 18 minute bus ride
How about a picnic in the park!? Just a 7 minute drive from our Grangegorman store, Phoenix park is the perfect place to enjoy a family pizza party in the sunshine! Our delivery drivers can even come to you!
The park is steeped in historic buildings, isolated structures, playgrounds, forests, parklands, wildlife and so much more. It has something to offer to all ages. At Phoenix Park Bikes you can avail of their challenge package which will create competitive group fun no matter what the group age.
Guinness Storehouse – 1.6km : 10 minute drive / 20 minute walk
Whether you’re visiting Dublin from afar or you hail from Ireland, Guinness Storehouse is a must visit when it comes to ‘things to do in Dublin’. While it might be one that springs to mind for adults seeking a fun day out in Dublin, the tour is very interactive & there is plenty of history for children to take in. Plus, kids under 13 go FREE, which is always a bonus!
The Guinness Storehouse is a short 8 minute drive from Pizzabaker Grangegorman, perfect to stop by after your tour for some tasty pizza for dinner!
Croke Park Stadium and GAA Tour – 2.8km : 12 minute drive
Enjoy a day out at Croke Park with all the family on a Junior Explorer Tour! A fun filled educational tour led by Cluasóg, the GAA Museum’s mascot.
Put your hurling and football skills to the test in the interactive games zone – loser pays for pizza! Check out your reaction skills, passing skills, practice a fingertip save or the art of the high catch!

Local to Kimmage? There are lots of fun family activities just a short drive or bus journey from our Pizzabaker Kimmage store.
The Tymon Park Fairy Trail – 4.8km : 9 minute drive
The 300 acre park is home to a playground, plenty of walking trails, 29 pitches and a decent bit of parking too. The playground at Tymon Park is possibly one of the coolest kids play areas in Dublin and has plenty of features for hours of free fun.
Just a 9 minute drive from Pizzabaker Kimmage, Tymon Park is the perfect location to enjoy a family picnic before searching for fairies!
Zipit Forest Adventure – 9.5km : 17 minute drive
Zipit Forest Adventure Park is an activity that is sure to work up an appetite! Offering adults and children up to four hours of thrilling, fun-filled treetop experience, you can spend the day climbing high into the treetops, swinging into cargo nets, or cycling over a treetop bridge before zipping down one of the many zip lines!
Less than a 20 minute drive from Pizzabaker Kimmage, this is one activity that will leave the family begging for a pizza dinner on route home!
Jump Zone Sandyford – 8.9km : 19 minute drive
Jump Zone is a fun day out guaranteed to keep energetic little ones entertained (5 years+). With a mix of jumping, climbing, Ninja, dodgeball, assault course, climbing tower, trapeze and gymnastic airtack it’s the perfect activity to use up all that energy before the summer holidays end!
